When you join the Guardians, you don't just get a hi-vis and a shift. You get the Guardian Academy training programme, a members portal, and a network of volunteers who look out for each other on and off the street.

Code of Conduct
Respect, restraint, and de-escalation — the standards every Guardian upholds.
Module 03
Safeguarding
Recognising risk and responding safely when supporting vulnerable adults, women and girls, young people and rough sleepers.
Module 04
Emergency First Aid Awareness
Awareness only: recognise medical emergencies, call 999, keep the scene safe, provide reassurance, and stay within your own competence. Not a first aider qualification.
Module 05
Legal Boundaries
Your legal position as a volunteer patrolling in public — including the groups-only rule.
Module 06
Becoming a Guardian
Sign the Volunteer Declaration, complete the final checks and receive your Guardian Academy certificate.

Everything you need — in one place.
Complete your registration, work through induction training at your own pace, track your progress, and check in with the team. The portal works on your phone in your pocket while you're on shift.
